Obtaining Software

The University of Georgia through UCNS is a subscriber to Groups I-G, I-H, I-J and VI of the IBM Higher Education Software Consortium (HESC). A list of the software available plus the terms and conditions and detailed technical information about each product is found at the IBM HESC Site.

Hardware Maintenance

The Electronic Design and Maintenance Shop is the University's vendor for hardware maintenance contracts for IBM RS/6000 workstations. Maintenance contracts are handled by a simple sign-up procedure with the Electronics Shop. Contact them for additional information and pricing for your system.
