EITS offers Windows Vista training to UGA faculty and staff

ATHENS, Ga.— EITS consultants will be conducting two Windows Vista introductory classes during the month of August. The first session is August 1 with the same session repeated on August 8.

The course description is as follows:

Microsoft recently released Windows Vista, a new operating system to replace Windows XP. EITS has researched the significant changes between XP and Vista and how they may affect University of Georgia employees. Hardware requirements, software compatibility, new features, and upgrade issues will be addressed during this demonstration.

All faculty and staff are encouraged to attend this non-technical overview in order to gain a better understanding of the new operation system, which is currently installed on many newly purchased computers.
